What ripple effect will you have during your lifetime?

Richard Beach has spent the last 40+ years training and serving in ministry.  Faced with the final years of his life as he battles cancer, it has become his deep desire to live out his gifts and strengths making the most of each day.  Although Richard is no longer running Doulos Ministries, he is still on the Board of Directors.  “My desire is to do what God is calling me to do as long as I’m able.” - Richard Beach

Living Legacy Today is a way to facilitate this dream by helping people make their mark and leave a legacy today that will impact future generations.  Just like a single drop effects the entire surface of the body of water it lands in, the entire world can be effected by just one decision to touch someone’s life.

Living Legacy Today focuses on:

Evangelism - ripple effect in the world for Christ.  One of Richard’s strongest gifts has always been evangelism.  You don’t have to spend very long with him to see this gift in action.  It may be the server at a restaurant or the businessman in the seat next to him on a plane, but God has given Richard a unique discernment about when the harvest is ripe within the lives of those around him.

Mentoring - it has always been about authentic relationships.  Discipleship the way Jesus did it, coming along side a brother, simply living life together.

Writing - leaving a lasting mark.  People often ask Richard, “Why haven’t you written a book?” and usually with some humor he answers, “Who would want to read it?”  Leaving stories that encourage people to understand, become impassioned about and carry on the vision for evangelism and discipleship, is a huge motivator for Richard to write at this time in his life.

Family - impacting future generations.  Richard has worked closely with his oldest daughter for the last 12 years.  Whitney has a passion for discipleship and has been an integral part of a number of the ministry programs at Doulos along side her father.  Richard and Whitney are the Living Legacy Today team.
